Awareness & Campaigns

At Black Blossom Alliance, we tell the truth about Black maternal health — and amplify the voices that matter. We run national and local campaigns to raise awareness of the unacceptable disparities that persist in maternity care. Through storytelling, creative content, and partnerships with media outlets and artists, we shift public understanding and drive cultural change. Our work is rooted in the belief that visibility sparks accountability — and that when Black women speak, the world must listen. From viral social movements to grassroots exhibitions, we create powerful platforms where stories are honored, injustice is exposed, and collective action is inspired. We challenge harmful stereotypes, celebrate Black motherhood in all its forms, and build momentum toward a future where equity is not just a goal, but a given.

  • Annual “Blossom Summit” – bringing together activists, clinicians, and community members to share insights and co-create solutions.
  • Social campaigns – designed to spotlight lived experiences, raise public awareness, and inspire meaningful action through storytelling, media engagement, and community participation. Campaigns like #HearMeBelieveMeAct reflect our commitment to listening, believing, and responding to the realities Black women face in maternal care.
  • Pop-up exhibitions and multimedia events in communities most affected by inequity.
  • Media partnerships to reframe the narrative around Black maternal care in the UK.

At Black Blossom Alliance, we tell the unfiltered truth about Black maternal health and center the voices too often ignored. Through bold storytelling, creative campaigns, and strategic partnerships, we raise awareness, challenge harmful narratives, and inspire collective accountability.

From viral social movements to intimate exhibitions, our Awareness & Campaigns pillar creates space for truth, healing, and action. We celebrate Black motherhood in all its forms — and make sure the stories that matter are seen, heard, and felt.
